If you can aca-believe it, Pitch Perfect 3 is now in theaters! If you were a fan of the last two Pitch Perfect movies then you will not be disappointed by the newest addition to the series. The movie begins with a look into the lives of The Barden Bellas after their college graduation. Although none of The Bellas are very excited about their future endeavors, everything seems perfect again when they finally have a fun-filled reunion. They all dream of performing together again, and this dream becomes a reality when they get the opportunity to sing in an overseas USO tour. These pitches have one last chance to sing their hearts out and make hilarious memories while living it up in some of the most amazing cities across the world. 1. Pitch Perfect 3 is Just as Aca-Awesome as the Two Previous Movies
I have been a fan of this movie series ever since it came out in 2012 and Pitch Perfect 3 exceeded all of my expectations, and then some. The music, humor and action in the film are incredible and very entertaining. As a lover of all things Pitch Perfect, I can assure you that you’ll absolutely love the latest installment of the series.
2. Fat Amy is Back and Better Than Ever
One of my all-time favorite characters is Fat Amy and she was absolutely hilarious. In Pitch Perfect 3, Fat Amy’s father enters the storyline and brings a new string of problems with him. Rebel Wilson really adds something special to the movie in her portrayal of Fat Amy and the series would not be the same without her.
3. There Are Many New Characters
When The Bellas go on the OSU tour they are joined by a few other bands and singing groups that are just as competitive and talented as they are. The movie features an all female pop punk group, a country group and even DJ Khaled himself stars in the film. There may even be a few potential love interests for some of your favorite characters…
4. The Music is Incredible
Let’s face it, this wouldn’t be a Pitch Perfect movie without a multitude of songs and dance numbers. Pitch Perfect 3 includes an amazing variety of performances to songs like “Sit Still Look Pretty” by Daya and “Toxic” by Britney Spears.
