Falling snow, hot cocoa, ice skating and peppermint-flavored everything. All these things remind us of winter, but one of my favorite things about this season is fashion. This season is especially hard to dress for, as it’s important to stay warm, but looking trendy is crucial too. Here are the best winter fashion trends that you should know about.

One of my favorite winter fashion trends is fur. Fur vests and fur coats are very important essentials for this winter. Fur vests are great for days where the weather isn’t extremely cold, and the extra layer is an added bonus. On the other hand, when the temperature is below freezing, try opting for a fur coat, as they are thick and very heavy. Not only are these coats and vests cute, but they are very versatile and will look amazing with almost anything that’s already in your closet.

Over the knee boots are very important this winter. These boots are extremely popular and I cannot wait to get my hands on a pair of them. Not only are these shoes super cute, but they cover more than half of your legs, keeping you warm on those especially cold winter days. A trend that will always be relevant during the winter season is thick infinity scarves. These scarves can be found in a variety of colors and patterns, so it’s impossible to have too many.
