“Trying” is a series centering around a couple who struggles to conceive. Nikki and Jason eventually decide to adopt, and we see them prepare to be parents. If you’re looking for a feel-good British series about dysfunctional adults, you definitely should “try” watching this show!
3. “Little Voice”
“Little Voice” is about an aspiring singer-songwriter named Bess who’s trying to balance her career and family obligations. We see the inspirations behind her songs and watch her fall for a guy who’s already taken. The series also features heartfelt indie-pop songs written by Sara Bareilles. It’s a great show for those in their 20s still trying to find their voice in the world.
4. “Defending Jacob”
All Chris Evans fans NEED to watch this show on Apple TV+! “Defending Jacob” is a crime drama based on the novel of the same name by William Landay. It’s about a family who are put into the spotlight when their 14-year-old son is accused of murder. This show is incredibly riveting!
5. “Little America”
Lastly, check out “Little America,” an anthology series focusing on the true stories of immigrants in America. The episodes manage to be funny, sweet, sad and inspiring at the same time. “Little America” is also executively produced by Kumail Nanjiani, so if you’re a fan of “The Big Sick,” you need to check out this show!
