Burton’s Creamery

This ice cream place is a one stop shop for a delicious and instagrammable frozen treat. This creamery is located on Dickson Street in a food truck where they serve either chocolate or vanilla soft-serve that they roll in various toppings. The toppings can range from fruity cereal to Andes Mints to crushed Oreos. They also sell fruit pops for those who are lactose intolerant. Rick’s Bakery

Rick’s bakery is one of those hidden gems you might miss, if you didn’t know it was there. This bakery is THE bakery for Fayetteville. They sell many different desserts from mini Razorback cakes to tye dye cookies to everything in between. It doesn’t stop there though, they also have delicious homemade sausage rolls and their own coffee. This is another highly instagrammable restaurant that looks just as good as it tastes.

Hugo’s

This burger place is a local’s favorite that’s easy to miss too, because it’s literally underground! This restaurant located right off the Fayetteville square is known for their burgers, but also offer tasty chicken fingers and dessert crepes. They are a great lunch or dinner place to sit down and have a burger in a friendly atmosphere. When you see the famous neon ‘Hugo’s’ sign, make sure to stop and have a delicious burger!

This great restaurant sells almost solely grilled cheese sandwiches. The open indoor/outdoor seating allows you to enjoy your meal while also enjoying the livelihood Dickson Street has to offer. Arsaga’s at the Depot

Right in the middle of all the action on Dickson Street is this Fayetteville favorite. Arsagas is a great place for any meal! Their menu includes sweet and savory crepes, some various egg dishes, fresh hand-cut fries, soups and salads. In my opinion though, one of the best things they offer is their locally roasted coffee beverages. I have had a LOT of coffee guys, but this is my all-time favorite. This coffee has a more unique and roasty flavor that stands out in all of their drinks. Another great item I recommend that you add onto your meal is their herbed potatoes with aioli. They’re honestly another must-try at this restaurant. Whatever you may order, I know you won’t be disappointed with this great stop!

The Farmer’s Table

For a little more of a small town homey feel, stop by this cute little eatery. Popular for breakfast and lunch, this place has more than enough options. The food is always fresh and always delicious. The secret is that they source their ingredients from small family farms and food artisans in the state of Arkansas.  They support these local food producers in an effort to increase community food security. Stop by this tiny table, support local, and have a bite of the best Fayetteville has to offer.
