  • Nonstick cooking spray: Any nonstick cooking spray, like PAM, should work to protect your air fryer basket, but always check your air fryer manual regarding what not to use on your machine.
  • 4 whole chicken wings: Each whole wing will be cut into thirds, so you will need to calculate how many total wings you will want. This recipe yields 12 wings, which all together fit perfectly in my air fryer. You can of course make more wings if you want!
  • 1Tbs. Olive Oil: The olive oil in this recipe serves as an adhesive so that the seasoning will stick to your wings.
  • 1 Tbs. Lemon Pepper: Lemon Pepper gives these wings their great taste by providing them with just the right combination of heat and citrus.
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Salt: The garlic salt adds a unique and savory addition to the Lemon Pepper, giving the wings a delicious and salty flavor!
  • 2-4 Celery Stalks (optional): If you want to add something with a refreshing crunch to your plate, some fresh celery stalks are an excellent choice!
  • Dipping Sauce of Choice (optional): These wings are mildly spicy with a delicious garlic flavor, so pretty much any sauce will pair well with them! You can try bbq sauce, worchestire sauce, blue cheese dressing, ranch dressing, hot sauce, or even parmesan garlic sauce.

  5. Prepare Sides: While the wings are cooking, get out your favorite sauce and start preparing the celery. Wash and cut each stalk into quarters.
  6. Flip Wings: Halfway through cooking (at the 10 minute mark) open your air fryer and flip each wing over so that they cook evenly on both sides.
  7. Plate and enjoy! After the 20 minutes ends, open your air fryer and remove the chicken wings. Put them on a plate with the sauce and celery.

Notes

While this recipe is incredibly delicious with lemon pepper and garlic salt, you can easily customize it with your own favorite spices. Also, you can easily substitute avocado oil or coconut oil if you do not want to use olive oil. The oil is only important so that the spices stick to the wings.
