Over the weekend, I participated in my first half-marathon. It was a great accomplishment and a lot of fun. I thought I’d share a few pictures from the finish.
My number one tip when thinking of running a half-marathon is find a running partner. Katie, pictured above, is mine and she is fabulous. I could not have ran it without her.
I also cannot emphasize enough the importance of proper nutrition when running and training for a marathon. I wrote a post about protein and carbs for runners here.
