Usually, fan favorites are selected to make up the cast, making the show highly anticipated. An amazing setting in the dreamy oasis of Mexico and 19 of our favorite “Bachelor alums” makes for the perfect summer TV binge.
These are the top 10 contestants that we are most excited to watch on the newest season of Bachelor in Paradise.
Blake Horstmann
Originally appearing on Becca’s season of The Bachelorette, Blake lasted until the very end. Becca ended up choosing the other of the final two contestants, Garrett. Blake quickly became a fan favorite during his season. F
Hannah Godwin
Hannah G just appeared on the most recent season of The Bachelor. Colton was not happy with his decisions, or the way things had conspired up to the finale of his season. He ended up dumping the final two girls, one of them being Hannah, to fight for a relationship with Cassie. Hannah was an early favorite on her season, and like Blake, after her breakup become much more so. Everyone is rooting for Hannah to find someone and a relationship that won’t end up like the last.
Demi Burnett
Demi was also one of the women vying for Colton’s heart, except she was the opposite of Hannah. She was outspoken and bold on her season, and actually rubbed a lot of girls the wrong way. But Demi was unapologetically herself, which caught Colton’s eye for a
Wills Reid
Another alum of Becca’s season, Wills’s exit was incredibly sad. After a dinner with both Jason and Wills, Becca decided her relationship was further along with Jason, and ultimately sent Wills home. Although, Wills’s reaction was the most heartbreaking part. John Paul Jones
John Paul Jones was on the most recent season of The Bachelorette with Hannah B. He quickly became a fan favorite for his funny camera moments while trying to stay out of drama and mind his own business. This was also the season of nice guys, which John Paul Jones definitely is, this made Bachelor fans fall for him even more. I’m excited to see him get more screen time on Bachelor in Paradise and really get to know him.
Bibiana Julian
Bibiana is a Bachelor alum multiple times over. She first appeared on Arie’s season of The Bachelor then appeared on Bachelor: Winter Games and then also on the last season of Bachelor in Paradise. Unfortunately, she’s been eliminated early on every season she’s been on. But she’s not afraid to go after what she wants, so I’m excited to see who that will be on this season of Bachelor in Paradise.
Clay Harbor
Clay first appeared on Becca’s Bachelorette season. He quickly became a fan favorite for his soft and quiet demeanor. His time on the show came to and end however when he was injured on a date, which might have affected his career as he is an NFL football player. Clay also dated another bachelor alum, Angela. Katie Morton
Katie first appeared on Colton’s season of The Bachelor, although she isn’t most remembered for her relationship with the leading man. She is one of the girls that set off the bomb that some of Colton’s women were not ready for marriage. She brew up more drama after she left than she did the entire time she was actually on the show. However, after watching her and Demi help Hannah B through her first night as the Bachelorette, I’m excited to see if Katie can find love of her own in paradise.
Tayshia Adams
Tayshia is another Colton alum, and the second of the two girls that he dumped before chasing after Cassie. She however took it very well and even found a way to have her last moments with Colton off camera. Tayshia is a sweet, soft-spoken girl, who hasn’t had the best luck in her love life. I’m hoping she finds someone to turn that around on this Bachelor in Paradise season.
Onyeka Ehie
Another of Colton’s girls, Onyeka was one of the most outspoken of the group. She wasn’t afraid to speak what she was feeling or thinking during her season. And she frequently got involved in skirmishes with other women in the house. However I think that Onyeka has a great heart, and I’m interested to see if any of the guys on this paradise season spark her interest.
This summer is heating up with all of these contestants and it’s coming to screens soon. I think this season has the potential to be one of the best yet. The producers did a great job casting this season and it is going to be very entertaining. I hope everyone on this season finds their second chance at love, and I’m so excited to see how it unfolds.
