Bachelor Matt James Talks Clare Crawley and Dale Moss Breakup
The Bachelor franchise has recently seen one of the most talked about breakups ever. The Bachelorette Clare Crawley met and got engaged to Dale Moss on her season of the show, but the two split after only 5 months together. Now The Bachelor star Matt James is sharing his thoughts on the topic.

Matt James Talks Clare and Dale Split
On Tuesday, February 2 Matt James appeared on E! News’ Nightly Pop and played a game of “Dating Dos and Don’ts”. So naturally, Clare and Dale were a topic of discussion. Hosts Nina Parker and Hunter March asked Matt about how Clare and Dale have been handling their breakup. Specifically, they asked Matt about how public the former couple has been, even addressing cheating rumors.
Matt James replied, “I can only speak for myself, that’s not something I would do.”
Also, James mentioned that while Clare and Dale’s relationship ended, he did not let it impact his time on the show looking for love. He said, “Because I’ve seen it go the other way. I reached out to a bunch of people…I talked to Sean Lowe before I got out here, I talked to Wells Adams, I’ve talked to a bunch of different people where I’ve seen the process work out for them.”
Matt James also mentioned that now he’s, “Just praying for the best.”
Looking For Love
Thankfully, The Bachelor star is not letting one famous breakup ruin his Bachelor Nation experience. Matt James is open to love and it is very meaningful to him. He feels that love is a partnership for better or for worse.
James says, “It’s just, what’s attractive to me is someone knowing that I leave my clothes all over the house, I’m late responding to you on a text message, my breath might smell like garlic, I’m doing X, Y, Z and they still love me for who I am.”
