My Best Blogging Moments of 2014

With 2015 starting tomorrow I decided to take a moment to reflect on some of my best blogging moments of 2014.  Let me tell you this, 2014, you’ve been a real gem. Looking back I can’t believe some of the amazing things I have experienced.  When I started my blog, I never dreamed it would lead me to where I am today.  I want to take a moment to thank all of you for following along with me on my journey.  Remember, you can achieve what ever you want in life.

This year I have had the chance to work with some of my favorite brands.  I hosted multiple twitter parties, attended a red carpet awards show, put on Go Blog Social events, met some of the most inspiring people and more.  Check out just a few of my favorite blogging moments of 2014.

Attending the ACMs

I attended the ACMs with one of my favorite brands, Kohl’s in 2014.  I attended as part of their new say YES campaign.  When they asked, you better believe I said YES!   You can check it out here.   You can also check out my entire Kohl’s look, you can’t go wrong with a little black dress and fun accessories.

Before the show started I got the experience of a lifetime.  I got to meet some of my favorite singers on the red carpet. You better believe I love country music so it was definitely an unbelievable experience.  This was a total pinch  me moment for me.  Read my whole post here.

Being a Nair Ambassador

In 2014, I had the chance to be a brand ambassador for Nair.  I was beyond honored to represent a brand that I truly believe in.  After months and months of cold weather, piles of snow and layers of clothes, it was finally time to break out the shorts and tank tops. This could not be have been better timing for me to announce my new role as a Nair brand ambassador.   I feel so blessed to have been able to work with the amazing brands I worked with in 2014.

Attending New York Fashion Week

When I was younger, we are talking middle school days, I would get off the bus and run home to watch fashion shows.  These were the days when the Style Network would show runway shows.  I really have no idea what it why, but I would get stuck watching these models showing off new fashion trends for hours and hours.  I always told myself that I was going to attend one of those shows in New York.  This year that goal become a reality.  New York Fashion Week was definitely an amazing experience.  I met so many wonderful bloggers, and was able to check out some great shows.

Going to a movie set and interviewing the stars

Did this one really happen? I am still in shock that I was able to travel to New Orleans and hang out on set with some of hollywood’s best.  (That’s me and my hollywood boyfriend James Marsden above).  2014, you gave me the chance to do something I never thought would happen to me.  Visiting the set of “The Best of Me” was one of the most inspiring experiences I have ever had.  I met Nicholas Sparks!! Yep, totally fan girl moment. I think I have read every single on of his amazing books.  Read about why I found him so inspiring here.

Testing Technology with Verizon

 

In 2014, I was part of an amazing group of influencers and through my partnership with Verizon I was able to take a couple of trips to Chicago to meet with the team and discuss our fun technology.  It’s amazing how impacting meeting new people can be.  Through this group I have met some amazing people and tried about some equally amazing technology.
