Best Tom Holland Movies + Where To Watch Them

Summer means different things to different people, but something a lot of us have in common is the desire to binge-watch every movie “fill in celebrity crush of the week here” has been in. In today’s case, the ridiculously handsome, Tom Holland (Instagram). We could go on and on about his superhuman good looks, endearing tendency to spoil both movies he does and does not star in and of course, his incredible gift for acting…or we could just let you see for yourself.

The recently 24-year-old British actor is one of the biggest names in Hollywood right now and we love him. Here are some of the best Tom Holland movies and the best/cheapest place to watch them:

Spiderman: Far From Home

HULU + Starz Add On ($8.99/month) or buy Amazon Prime Video- $14.99

This fun film takes our friendly neighborhood Spiderman out of his neighborhood as Peter Parker travels Europe on an international high school field trip. Between unaware chaperones, field trip flings, and plane rides that don’t go as you plan, this movie is pretty true to an awkward high school experience abroad. However, Peter, who is in desperate need of a vacation, can’t seem to get away from his superhero responsibilities. Our sweet Peter is still mourning the loss of his mentor Tony Stark and all he wants to do is tell MJ how he feels about her. How will he take on these new responsibilities and still live a fairly normal teenage life?

Spiderman: Homecoming

Youtube- Rent $3.99

Many fans, both Marvel buffs and newbies alike, have said that Tom Holland is the best Spiderman there’s ever been. We couldn’t agree more! He portrays the excitable, intelligent, happy-go-lucky and maybe a little awkward teenager that Peter Parker was always meant to be. We love to watch him play the role because we know just how much he loves it and it shows in his performance! And of course, we love seeing Tom and Zendaya on screen together.

How I Live Now

When I heard that three of the biggest young actors were all in a film together when they were little teenagers, I had to watch this immediately. Right now, Tom Holland, Saoirse Ronan and George Mackay are running Hollywood and this movie combines all their talent in one. This unconventional group of kids in the English countryside are trying to salvage what’s left of their peaceful life when a WW3 level bombing begins in Europe. You’ll feel the full range of emotions throughout this film and if you’re a Tom Holland fan- good luck. That’s all I’ll say about that.

Just like any good Pixar film, this movie is an adventure from start to finish. What do you expect when you put these two guys together? These two superheroes voice brothers who are on a mission to use magic to spend the day with their deceased father. It’s a movie about bravery, love, sacrifice, and the bond between siblings. If you are a younger sibling, you’re sure to shed a tear or two. Tom explained in an Instagram post that being a part of an iconic Pixar movie was on his bucket list and now he’s done it! What can’t he do?

The Impossible

Showtime Subscription (30 day free trial or $11/month)

In this thrilling film, Tom helps retell the true story of a family who experienced a terrifying tsunami while vacationing in Thailand. Since this was one of Tom’s first big gigs as an actor, he’s a young boy in the film who has some A-list parents to act alongside. Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor play Tom’s mom and dad in the film and his acting was absolutely on par with theirs even with years less of experience. Tom Holland has some heart-wrenching scenes in this drama and while the realities of the film can be a bit gruesome, you will be in awe of his talents.

The Lost City of Z

Amazon Prime Video Subscription

In this film, Tom Holland is accompanying his movie dad on a journey to discover an ancient civilization. The family faces hardships because the scientific community thinks his father is, well, crazy. The main thing you need to know about this movie is that it stars two teen heartthrobs, past and present: Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson. I mean, what more could you ask for?

In the Heart of the Sea

Amazon Prime Video- $1.99

This is another movie with two of the most handsome Avengers, making it a must-watch! This voyage at sea turns life-threatening when a giant whale begins attacking their ship and leaves them floating aimlessly in the ocean, starving and terrified. Tom Holland is the cabin boy who experiences more on this journey at sea than he was expecting. Their harrowing adventure inspires the novelization of the story “Moby Dick.”

Avengers: Infinity War

Disney+ or Netflix Subscription

Besides his brief appearance in Captain America: Civil War, this is the first time that Peter Parker really teams up with the Avengers in their fight against Thanos. His excitement to be a part of the iconic superhero team adds comedy to otherwise serious situations. The best thing about Tom’s Spiderman is his fanboy personality that represents any Marvel fan who suddenly got the chance to be an Avenger. And of course, Avengers: Infinity War has Tom’s iconic Dr. Who inspired “I don’t wanna go” improvised scene that is enough to have you deep in your feels.

Avengers: Endgame

Disney+ Subscription

There’s nothing like the tender moments between Tony Stark and Peter Parker in this final installment of the Avengers films. The connection between these two superheroes is unlike any other Marvel duo and it’s enough to make you teary-eyed. Avengers: Endgame is Tony’s love for Peter on full display as he decides to take a big risk in order to save the teenager from Thanos’ snap. Tom’s acting in this movie, as always, is enough to make you question your favorite Marvel superhero- that is, if it’s not already Spiderman.

Though the future of entertainment is unclear due to the COVID-19 crisis, Tom Holland has some upcoming projects as well! The third movie of Tom’s Spiderman trilogy is set to come out in 2021 and based on the cliffhanger ending of Far From Home, anticipation is high! His two new films that were meant to be released in 2020- Cherry and The Devil All the Time– are unclear if they will premiere on time. Based on the films’ synopses alone, we can tell that
