Big Brother’s Natalie Negrotti Speaks Out About Showmance With James Huling
We’ve been getting a ton of questions about Natalie’s showmance with James Huling from Season 18 of Big Brother. While, it was not addressed in the Sarah Scoop interview we did with our girl Natalie, she did speak out in a group interview.
When asked if the showmance she had with James was fake, she responded, confirming to Hollywood Reporter it was anything but, “Are you saying that I was in a fake showmance [with James Huling]? People are very shallow and wanted to judge it.” She shared her true feelings saying, “I genuinely cared for this person with all of my heart and it’s sad people say it wasn’t true because we look different and come from different backgrounds.”
While, it doesn’t appear as though her and James are still in contact, she does stay close to some of her cast-mates. “The show gave me a few amazing friendships I cherish to this day! I remain in contact with Michelle, Bronte, Tiffany, Da’vonne, and Bridgette!” She explained to Sarah Scoop, just how lucky she is to be apart of the Big Brother family. “The amazing thing about Big Brother is you also become great friends with people from other seasons and other countries who have played the game.”
Natalie also shared advice for the new house guests entering the Big Brother home this Monday!
They were just voted the 2nd best Showmance in the history of Big Brother so that shows you what America thought about them.
Natalie and James were the reason I watched Big Brother 18 as they both made for great Television and have a huge fan base.
It was obvious to anyone who watched the live feeds for Big Brother 18 they were very much a couple in the House. I think one main reason some think it was fake is as Natalie said, “it’s sad people say it wasn’t true because we look different and come from different backgrounds.” In other words people have not seen an Asian American Country Boy dating a Italian/Latina Girl from Jersey before and that plays into why a small minority could not believe it was real.
I just don’t understand how people cannot believe two people can fall in love no matter their backgrounds or ethnicity. I am an Asian American Woman that married an Italian guy from the Bronx and my family also did not understand it at first but once they saw how we both were devoted into the relationship they did. Inherit bias within all of us will always influence how we see those around us.
