After countless roles in Hallmark movies, Candace Cameron Bure was bound to be asked about how difficult these roles really are as her renowned presence had to have kept her filming these movies for a reason.
Thanks to insight from Entertainment Tonight on Candace’s Hallmark Movie journey, we have the scoop on how her appearances on the channel are ones that require great skill!
Paula Faris Jokes with Candace Bure
While on the Paula Faris Podcast, Bure answered one of her most asked questions, but only after Paula Faris joked asking, “I mean, really, how hard is it? Don’t you get that all the time?”
Sternly, Bure responded by saying, “How hard is it to be in a Hallmark movie?’ Like, ‘Can I be in a Hallmark movie?’ And I’m like, ‘Are you a professional actor?’ ‘No.’ ‘Then no, you cannot.” and “You can be a background person, they’re called extras,” she continued.
Bure added, “If you don’t have a speaking part, that’s easy. I can make that happen. If you have a speaking part, then we’re gonna have to make sure you can do the job.”
Bure’s Big Contribution
Candace Bure keeps herself busy. She also went on to explain how involved she is with the development of scripts on Hallmark movies and being an executive producer for her last 20 movies on the channel!
Natasha Bure, daughter of Candace Bure, is supportive of her mother’s acting career. However, on Paula Faris’ podcast, Candace went on to say, “It’s so funny because my family does not care about watching my Hallmark movies except for [my daughter] Natasha. She’s always up for it, but my boys [sons Maksim and Lev] are like, ‘Not another Hallmark movie.”
Being an actress, producer, and mom is hard work! Understandably, Candace Bure puts a lot of dedication into her Hallmark movie roles on and off-screen. What are your favorite Hallmark movies?
