Candace Cameron Bure Tells Haters “Keep Your Mouth Shut”

Candace Cameron Bure is a strong and confident woman. While the Fuller House star no doubt has thousands of adoring fans, she also has some online haters. But like any confident woman, Bure has no sympathy for online bullying and she has a message for her online critics.

Candace Cameron Bure Fires Back

After sharing an innocent family Christmas photo on her Instagram, the Hallmark star found the photo flooded with negative comments. The picture in question featured Candace Cameron Bure, and her husband Valeri Bure with their three beautiful children. The photo caption was an uplifting holiday message.

However, Bure received hateful comments critiquing everything the photo editing to her children’s appearances. The actress shared her thoughts on E! News’ Daily Pop saying, “You know, people forget that—yes, I’m a celebrity—but I’m a real person. I was simply sharing a family Christmas card. And it’s so strange to me that people have the audacity to write horrible and negative comments. Like, you would never say that to someone’s face.” 

Bure eventually responded to the online commenters saying, “It was more about a reminder, like, I’m sharing the best of what I believe my family is on a Christmas card, so keep your mouth shut. If you don’t like it, just scroll on.”

Candace Is Used To Hate

Unfortunately, Candace Cameron Bure is becoming more and more familiar with receiving online hate. Just last week she addressed fans who are concerned with some of the accounts Bure follows on social media.

Also, she received additional backlash in November regarding a photo she posted of she and her husband, in which his hand is on her chest. In response to the negativity from this photo, she responded on the Confessions Of A Crappy Christian podcast. Bure explained, “I was like, ‘You know what guys? I’ve been married for 24 years. I’m a Christian, my husband’s a Christian, and I’m really proud that we’ve managed to stay married for 24 years.'”

Fortunately, the example that she and her husband set for their children is clearly a recipe for a happy marriage. Bure says that her secret is, “Lots of love, lots of time together.” She even jokes that she and her husband, “gross our kids out a lot.”

Candace is looking forward to her children having kids of their own and she, “can’t wait” to become a grandmother. So, while she may receive hate from strangers online, there is no doubt that Candace Cameron Bure recognizes that family is the most important thing.
