Celebrities You May Not Know Are in Hallmark Movies
Many star-studded actors have appeared on the Hallmark Channel. Avid watchers of Hallmark know that actresses like Candace Cameron Bure from Full House and Lacey Chabert, who played Gretchen in Mean Girls, pop up in multiple Hallmark films. However, here are some other celebrities that you may not know are in Hallmark movies:
1. Zachary Levi and Alexis Bledel
The Hallmark movie Remember Sunday has two pretty well-known actors. Zachary Levi, from the series Chuck and the movie Shazam, plays a jewelry store clerk who has short term memory loss. He falls in love with a waitress played by Alexis Bledel from Gilmore Girls. If you love these two actors or movies like 50 First Dates, you need to watch this!
2. Chad Michael Murray
Anyone who grew up in the early 2000s knows Chad Michael Murray. He plays the heartthrob in the movie A Cinderella Story and also in shows like One Tree Hill. Murray appears in a few Hallmark movies like The Road to Christmas, White Before Christmas, and The Beach House. Be prepared to swoon when watching any of these movies.
3. Megan Markle
Hallmark has many movies about women falling in love with princes and becoming princesses. For Megan Markle, that Hallmark plot became a reality when she married Prince Harry! Markle stars in the film Dater’s Handbook, where her character learns that she shouldn’t change herself to find a man. We’re glad Markle followed this advice in real life.
4. Kerri Russel
You may have seen Kerri Russel in the series The Americans or movies like Waitress. Or, you may have caught a glimpse of her in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. However, you may not know that Russel starred in a Hallmark drama called The Magic of Ordinary Days. It’s set during WWII, about a woman who’s pregnant and forced into an arranged marriage.
5. Julia Stiles and David Walton
This top ten list wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the 10 Things I Hate About You actress Julia Stiles. She stars in the Hallmark movie The Makeover alongside David Walton, who has appeared in many television shows, including New Girl and About a Boy. This movie is a gender-swapped and modern version of My Fair Lady. Stiles’ character worries about being likable, but there’s no doubt that these two actors are enjoyable to watch in this movie.
6. Danielle Panabaker
Danielle Panabaker, known for her role on The Flash and in Disney films like Sky High, stars in Recipe for Love. She plays an aspiring cook who has to ghostwrite a celebrity chef’s cookbook. Panabaker also appears in the Hallmark movie Christmas Joy and Nearlyweds.
7. Carlos PenaVega
Big Time Rush band member Carlos PenaVega shows off his dancing skills in the Hallmark movie Enchanted Christmas, where he stars alongside his wife in real life Alexa PenaVega. The couple also stars in Hallmark Mystery movies together and the film Love at Sea. Obviously, their chemistry is as amazing off-screen as it is on screen.
8. Brandon Routh
Brandon Routh has played two superheroes in his career, Superman and the Atom. However, he’s also made a Hallmark appearance in the movie The Nine Lives of Christmas. He plays a kind-hearted firefighter, who takes care of a cat with the help of a veterinarian student. This movie has it all: Christmas, cats, and a happy ending.
9. Laura Osnes and Scott Michael Foster
Laura Osnes is famous for her Broadway roles in musicals like Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella and Bandstand. Scott Michael Foster is no stranger to singing or the TV screen either, as he had a recurring role in the musical series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and the show Greek. Also, Broadway fans will be happy to know that they sing together in this movie.
10. Dolly Parton
Dolly Parton is no stranger to acting, as she’s guest-starred in multiple television shows and appeared in many movies. However, you may not know that she’s been in a Hallmark movie as well. In the film, Christmas at Dollywood, she advises the heroine to go after what she wants. It’s good to know that Dolly Parton is always there to help us follow our hearts.

I vote for Candace Cameran Bure as my favorite female actor in Hallmark movies. Her politics, who she is in reality–her wholesomeness, combined with her acting ability SHE WINS in my book.
My favorites besides Candice Cameron Bure,(who is the best), would be Lacey Chabert and Danica McKeller. They are all truly wonderful actresses, but there are many other less known actresses that are really great too.
My other favorite actress is Wagner
Alicia Witt I my favorite..She is terrific!
I like most stars on Hallmark
But the one I really like is
Brandon Penny
I’m almost 75 and that is a dream of mine. Getting to meet Brandon Penny and maybe have dinner with him.
That would be a nice 75th birthday gift.
A December Bride with Jessica and Daniel is my favorite.
Other than Dolly you are all wholey shyyyt.
