Top: Peanut butter mixed with brown sugar in a bowl. Bottom: Chocolate peanut butter swirl bars cut into squares.

Step 1: Prep Your Ingredients

Before we dive in, gather everything—you’ll want everything measured and ready to go.

These bars come together quickly, so prepping ahead makes the process easier.

Step 2: Make the Peanut Butter Base

In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, confectioners’ sugar, melted butter, and 1 cup of peanut butter.

Stir until everything is well combined and forms a slightly thick, crumbly dough.

Step 3: Press Into the Pan

Chocolate and peanut butter swirl bars on parchment paper, with some pieces cut and topped with chocolate chips; nearby are a bowl of brown sugar and a jar of Nutella.

Grab a 9×13-inch pan (no need to grease it) and press the peanut butter mixture evenly into the bottom.

Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to make sure it’s smooth and packed down.

Step 4: Melt the Chocolate

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and 4 tablespoons of peanut butter.

Microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring between each, until the mixture is smooth and creamy. This should take about 1-2 minutes total.

Step 5: Spread & Swirl

Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the peanut butter base and spread it evenly with a spatula.

If you want that marbled effect, use a knife or toothpick to swirl the chocolate a bit.

For extra texture and crunch, sprinkle chocolate chips on top before the chocolate sets.

Step 6: Chill & Slice

Pop the pan into the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to let everything firm up.

Once set, cut into 12 squares (or smaller if you want bite-sized pieces) and enjoy!
