Clare Crawley Shades Bachelor Matt James Yet Again

Bachelor Nation has lots of drama going on. From new hosts of The Bachelorette to former contestants flirting over Instagram, there is so much happening it’s hard to keep up!

In the midst of so much drama, some Bachelor Nation contestants are sharing their opinions! Former star of The Bachelorette, Clare Crawley, seems to have some thoughts on Matt James and his relationships!

Matt James Current Relationship

During the finale of The Bachelor, Matt James seemed head-over-heels in love with Rachael Kirkconnell. While he did not propose to her, he still gave Rachael his final rose. Even though Rachael wins Matt’s season, the two announced After the Final Rose that they were not together.

Matt James ended his relationship with Rachael after racially insensitive photos of her gained attention. More recently, the two were seen reuniting in New York City.

So while it appears that Matt and Rachel are in contact with one another again, fans are still unsure if they are officially dating again.

Clare Crawley Shares Her Thoughts

The former star of The Bachelorette seems to have shared her thoughts on Matt James once again. In an April 9th Tweet, Crawley replied to a fan.

The fan’s Tweet reads, “Clare Crawley tried to warn bachelor nation about Matt James don’t forget! lol” Clare simply replied with a shrugging emoji and a smirk emoji.

This is not the first time that Clare Crawley seemingly dissed Matt James on Twitter. Matt was originally supposed to be a contestant on Clare’s season of The Bachelorette, but instead became the first black Bachelor and starred in his own season.

In a tweet from April 2020, the hairstylist said, “If you are doing interviews and creating Cameo accounts before you are even on my season… you are in it for the wrong reasons… #dontwasteyourtime”

Fans at the time suspected that Clare’s tweet was calling out Matt James who was doing press in the efforts to promote a Fit-A-Thon event for charity. After fans guessed that Clare’s referring to Matt James, she then elaborated saying, ““It was about MULTIPLE men and a general thought I was having while we sit here in a real life crisis where someone’s (everyone’s) time + sincerity hold so much weight and value.”

As for Clare Crawley herself, the former Bachelorette is spending more time with her ex-fiance Dale Moss and the two seem to be very happy together.

So when it comes to Matt James’ relationship with Rachael Kirkconnell, Bachelor Nation will just have to wait and see how things pans out!
