You all know I love New York City so when I get the chance to head back for a visit I always have the best time.  I headed to the big apple to cover the United States premiere of Criminal.

It was so much fun and the movie is certainly one you will want to see.  It’s action packed and keeps your mind going the entire time.  So here is the scoop on the new movie Criminal in theaters this week.

Who’s in it?

After attending the premiere I got to attend the after party and meet the star of the movie, Kevin Costner!! The Criminal Movie has an all-star cast including Gary Oldman, Gal Gadot, Tommy Lee Jones, and Ryan Reynolds (just to name a few more).  The movie starts off with an amazing acting job by Ryan Reynolds.  You know if Ryan is in it, it’s sure to be good. 😉

Amaury Nolasc was also in attendance at the after party and did a great job acting in the Criminal Movie.  He was a super nice guy, posing for pictures and taking time to chat with anyone who was interested at the party.  I always appreciate when actors make time for that.

Who created it?

Summit Entertainment and Millennium Films present a Benderspink production and Millennium Films production and a Campbell Grobman Films production, a film by Ariel Vromen. Written by Douglas Cook & David Weisberg. Directed by Ariel Vromen.

What’s the story line?

When a CIA agent dies (Ryan Reynolds) while having an unfinished mission, a death row inmate (Kevin Costner) is given the skills and memories to finish it for them. Not only does the inmate recall the agents memories of the mission, but he also recalls the memories of the agents loved ones as well.

Movies like Criminal are always a good way to give your brain something new to think about and have fun escaping into the story.  Before the premiere I put on my Criminal gear and channeled the Criminal Movie inspired character in me as explored New York City.

Would I recommend the movie Criminal?

As an action movie lover, I would definitely recommend it. The trailer had me looking forward to seeing the unfinished mission and I am so glad I did.  I also like movies that keep you on the edge of your seat.  This one tested my mind and seriously made me question if memories can turn a bad guy good, you’ll understand what I’m talking about after you see it. I loved how the movie connected a CIA agent and criminal in a way I have never seen done before.

Are you like the main character?
