How Much Money For Bachelor in Paradise?

During the podcast, Jason and Dean discuss how much money they make on Bachelor in Paradise.

Dean shares his first experience saying, “They hit me up, and they’re like, ‘Hey, do you want to do Bachelor in Paradise, this other show? It pays $400 bucks a day, and you could be there for up to 30 days, or something like that. So I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, great. Four hundred bucks a day, 30 days, $12,000—that’s fantastic.’ And then I start talking to some friends, and they’re like, ‘Well, you should get more money because you’re … who they want most from your season to go to Paradise, minus Peter [Kraus].'”

Dean then explains that he began negotiating, asking for $800 a day, and the producers then offered $600 which he accepted. He says, “It could’ve been one dollar more, but out of principle, I wanted them to pay me more than they were offering everybody else, just because I thought I was hot s–t or something.”

After Bachelor in Paradise, Dean also appeared on The Bachelor Winter Games which filmed over a shorter time period and he made $400 each day.

Following a very dramatic first appearance on Bachelor in Paradise, Dean shares that he asked for “$20,000 an episode or some absurd amount” to return to Paradise for season 6. However, he adds that “as time wore on, I said, ‘Screw it.’ I think I went down to like $602 a day.”

Thankfully for Dean, he met Caelynn Miller-Keyes that season. Now the couple seems very happy together.

While Jason Tartick does not appear on Bachelor in Paradise, he still shares his insider scoop. In 2018, Jason was preparing to be on Bachelor in Paradise! His payment had even been negotiated and he would have made $600 a day.

Also, Jason says he negotiated a $5,000 guarantee in case he did not make it far on the show. However, it is during this time that he began dating his now fiancee Kaitlyn Bristowe.

The men also discuss the money made by stars of The Bachelor. Jason says that he was in the running with Blake Horstmann and Colton Underwood to star in season 23 for $100,000. Dean shares that his contract to star in season 22 for $75,000 ultimately went to Arie Luyendyk Jr.
