Disney World’s Villains After Hours Scoop
Our favorite Disney movies wouldn’t be nearly as fun without a good villain. Disney World’s Villains After Hours celebrates the joys of being bad, staying up late, and indulging your dark side. This was one of my favorite experiences at Disney World. Any event that helps me avoid lines, lets me explore the park at cooler temps, give me free, etc. sign me up. 🙂 So of course, I’ve got the scoop for you!

Before we get started you can turn in a perfect by shopping these villain-themed outfits to wear to Villains After Hours. You’ll be feeling like an evil queen in no time.
THE RIDES
First of all, my favorite rides and rollercoasters were even more fun at night. Since this event is after hours (10pm to 1am), the park was a lot less crowded and everything was pretty much a walk-on. I didn’t have to wait longer than five minutes to ride things that normally have hour long queues. I think that might have been my favorite part. 😉

Disney revamped Space Mountain & Pirates of the Caribbean to feature surprises and make the rides scarier (and more fun) than ever before! This is a GREAT opportunity to hit up my favorite spots in Magic Kingdom without the heat or crowds. Space Mountain was seriously crazy. I don’t want to ruin it for you, but trust me it’s an adventure.
SNACKS SNACKS SNACKS

Even evil queens need snacks, and Villains After Dark took note of that. There are plenty of free snacks throughout the park including popcorn, water bottles, and those cute little Mickey ice cream bars. In addition to the freebies, there are about a dozen other decadent treats inspired by about the villains.

Some of my favorite underrated antagonists finally got the recognition they deserved in the form of food. Yzma’s Llama Potion, Evil Emperor Zurg’s Noodles, and the De Vil’s Treat are just a few.
THE VILLAINS

And of course, we got to see the villains themselves in all their glory. There were no up close meet and greets, but the ugly stepsisters and Queen of Hearts were hanging out at the Train Station making funny comments all night long! There were also several photo opportunities for pics with Scar, Hades, Maleficent, and Oogie Boogie.

VILLAINS UNITE ON STAGE
Before you go, you have to watch the Villains Unite the Night show at the castle. This show had Megara and Hades from Hercules mingling with Jafar, Dr. Facilier, and the Evil Queen.
