My Facial Experience at Beauty Brands

It is always important to take a break out of our everyday lives to actually relax and reward ourselves.  I have such a hard time doing this so when Beauty Brands offered me a day at the spa I knew I had to say yes!  As part of my ambassadorship with Beauty Brands (special shoutout to those of you that attended my in store events) I had the chance to get some great services done and share about my experience.  Megan from  Chasing Davies and I went to Beauty Brands in Kansas City to check out their salon and spa.

We tried services for the face.  First up was the Peter Roth Facial + a chemical peel.  This facial was everything.  If you have never had a facial before you need to get one asap.  This was one of the most relaxing things I’ve ever done.  Not only did she clean my pores, but she also gives you a little massage and customizes your experience for exactly what you need.  For me, she suggested I add a chemical peel and I’m so glad I did.  My face was so soft and refreshed.  I need to add this to my monthly to do list.

I also did an eyebrow wax, while I was there.  Eyebrows are thing now and they aren’t going anywhere, anytime soon.  I have had my eyebrows waxed basically everywhere you could imagine, including doing them myself.  Over the last 4 months I have been going to Sarah at Beauty Brands on the country club plaza.  She has been shaping them for me and providing me the exact look I have been going for.  She has also given me tips on filling them in and has even done a mini demo for me.  If you’re looking to get ‘brows on point’ I suggest you give her a visit!

I was really impressed with how the esthetician enhanced my natural features with expert waxing at our Brow Bar.  After a nice eyebrow shaping through waxing I had a hair cut appointment.  You can read about that here.
