#FiftyShadesFreed Movie Review + What I Learned About Relationships

The Fifty Shades of Grey franchise is sadly coming to a close with it’s newest installment, Fifty Shades Freed.  Although it’s sad to see Christian and Ana’s story end, Fifty Shades Freed is the perfect final film for this series.  After Christian (Jamie Dornan) and Ana (Dakota Johnson) are married, they immediately jet off to the honeymoon of their dreams and begin their lives of luxury.  Everything seems to be going well with the happy couple, but a shadowy figure from Ana’s past threatens to destroy all of this.  Ana and Christian must work to defeat their tormentor and keep their loved ones safe in the process.  This has by far been my favorite in the franchise of movies. We see a side of Ana that is confident and ready to take on the world.  We also see a more vulnerable Christian and together we see them work through life.

Here are 3 things I learned about relationships from Fifty Shade Freed, in theaters now!

1. Trust Your Partner

Above all, Christian and Ana have a great sense of trust in each other.  They are soul mates and no matter what secrets they may keep from one another, they’ll always have each other’s backs.  It’s important that you trust your partner because that’s what every strong relationship is built on.

2. The Two of You Should be Equals

A relationship will never work out if one person is constantly bossing the other one around.  Unfortunately, this is something that Christian struggles with, but Ana stands her ground and always sticks up for herself if she’s uncomfortable with anything.  There needs to be a balance between the two of you if the relationship is ever going to amount to anything.

3. Communication is Key

As many of you probably already know, communication is so important in a functioning relationship.  No one is a mind reader, so why should you expect them to be?  The more you communicate with your partner, the stronger your relationship will be.

Fifty Shades Freed ties the whole franchise up in a neat bow and you will not be disappointed.  Don’t miss Fifty Shades Freed, in theaters now!
