Foodie Chick Event Recap
Last weekend, I attended the Foodie Chick Event while it was here in KC. Hosted by Chick Events, the event took place at Park Place in Leawood, Kansas where dozens of local eateries, breweries, bistros and wineries entered their best in hopes of winning the title of “best bite,” “best white wine,” “best red wine,” “best craft beer,” or “best coffee brew.”
Benefits of the event went to Newhouse, a safe home providing safety, comfort and hope for families and individuals of domestic violence.
Even with a heat index of 112 followed by a severe thunderstorm, the event was a hit and visited by hundreds of Kansas Citians, bloggers and critics.
