I would love to win this for my father. He has been a cop for over 30 years and his only means of letting things go from the day's stress and worry has been his music. He has a vast selection of records of everything from The Beatles to Lynard Skynard. Several months ago, his record player of over 15 years finally went kaput on him. Needless to say, I could tell he was upset but he simply got up and went to bed. He never said a word. However, I have been at his home on several occasions since and he's seemed really stressed out and I am sure its because of not being able to relax and listen to his records after work. I would love to win it FOR him so he can again have something to distract him from the realities of his job as a law enforcement officer, until he is finally able to retire from his job of protecting his community despite the lack of respect and stress he deals with.
