Every year Pantone decide on the color of the year and this year that color is Emerald. Emerald was described by Pantone as: “Lively. Radiant. Lush… A color of elegance and beauty that enhances our sense of well-being, balance and harmony.” Emerald is a beautiful jewel tone that suits every skin color and hair color. Many people aren’t seen wearing emerald because it is so luminous and powerful that they don’t think they call pull it off. That is, of course, not true. What better time to try out emerald than after the greenest day of the year – St. Patrick’s Day? There are many beautiful ways to incorporate emerald into your life and it will surely make all your friends and family green with envy!

CLOTHING

You can pair a sweet emerald dress with some earth tone sandals for a lovely, summery look. You could also try an emerald green blouse with a simple pair of jeans and add some animal print shoes for an extra flair. Also, another great option is to try a subtle hint of emerald in your jewelry with another jewel tone and some neutral pumps.
