Guilt-Free Date Brownies Recipe

Always craving something sweet after dinner but trying to avoid all that sugar? Try this brownie recipe! These date brownies will satisfy your sugar craving without all the empty calories.

I love these brownies because they’re really delicious and aren’t even bad for you. The main ingredient in this brownie recipe is dates, which are packed full of vitamins and really high in protein. They also have natural sugar, as opposed to all that processed white sugar which can be really bad for you.

These are so easy and quick, and can even be no-bake! If you just pop them in the fridge they can be served as a fudge rather than brownies. When you hear “made from dates” you probably think they’ll be kind of gross or really healthy tasting but I promise they’re not, they’re actually so good! I was skeptical at first too, but trust me these date brownies are amazing.

Ingredients:

20-25 pitted dates

2 tbsp melted coconut oil

1 tbsp water

1/2 cocoa powder

1/3 chocolate chips

1/2 cups of walnuts (pecans or almonds also work)

HOW TO MAKE THE BROWNIES:

First, if you’re baking these, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Second, put your dates, coconut oil, water, and cocoa powder into the food processor.

Next, blend until it becomes a doughy looking consistency.

Then, add your nuts of choice and blend again until the nuts are evenly mixed into the batter.

Next, move your dough to a baking dish, sprinkle chocolate chips on top, and put it in the oven for 10 minutes.

Lastly, remove, let cool, and enjoy these guilt free date brownies!
