Halloween Costumes you already have in your closet!
I love Halloween just as much as the next girl, but that doesn’t mean I want to keep dishing out money on new costumes every year, and sometimes we may have more than one costume party to attend! Here are some Halloween costumes using stuff you already own.
1.Breakfast at Tiffany’s: Holly’s Signature Look
All we need for this classic Audrey look is a black dress, black heels, pearls, tiara and a long cigarette. This classic Audrey look is easy and fun when you want to be out the door in 15 minutes!
2. Bank Robber
This is by far the easier costume to put together! All we need to transform ourselves into a bank robber is a black and white striped tee and that black beanie from last winter will do the trick for this years costume!
3. Black Cat
Let me just say that this has been my go to costume since I don’t remember when! It’s so easy to dress up as a black cat, you can literally wear anything – black top and a skirt or leggings and a T-shirt and some kitty ears and you’ve turned yourself into a cat! Finish the look up by using pencil eyeliner to draw on whiskers and your nose and you’re ready to meow the night away!
4.Breakfast at Tiffany’s: Holly’s Pajamas
Another one of my favorites and a famous outfit from Breakfast at Tiffany’s is Audreys’ epic sleeping attire, not to mention Madeleines’ costume choice in Big Little Lies! All we need for this costume is an oversized white dress shirt and a blue sleeping mask and you’re ready for a comfy Halloween night!
5. Mime
The only pieces we need for this costume is– a black & white striped tee, black jeans, black hat and suspenders!
6. Grease: Sandy
This classic greaser look is so fun and so easy to put together! A black top, leggings or black jeans, leather jacket and a pair of red heels will sure do the trick when you’re out of time or on a budget and want to look your best at this years costume party!
7. Stranger Things: Eleven
Dressing up as characters from our binge worthy Netflix shows will never go out of style! Lucky for us Eleven has pretty simple outfits that we can choose from. When I say simple I mean it! All you need for this look is a pink dress, blue bomber jacket and a box of Eggo Waffles if you want to carry around a prop!
8. Where’s Waldo
If you want to be found at a Halloween party this costume is for you! A red and white striped tee, red beanie and your comfiest pair of jeans will do the deed!
9. Frida Kahlo
I wish I saw more people use Frida Kahlo as inspiration the it comes to Halloween! This idea has so much room to do as you please, a classic look could be a maxi floral dress from the summer and a floral headband (you can buy one at Forever 21) if you don’t already own one!
10. Rosie the Riveter
A denim dress or shirt, red bandana and bright red lipstick is all we need for this Rosie the Riveter look!
