Hocus Pocus & The All-New Sequel Prize Pack Giveaway

“Disney Hyperion sent me a copy of the book and merch to check out and is partnering with me for a giveaway!”

I can’t remember the last time I have ever been so excited for a sequel to be created.  I love Halloween and a favorite of mine has always been Hocus Pocus. Growing up it was a family tradition for my mom and to get the seasons started by watching the movie on October 1 every year.  I am so excited to be partnering with Hocus Pocus & The All-New Sequel to get ready for another round of Hocus Pocus!

Max lit the Black Flame Candle on July 16, 1993, and the Sanderson Sisters graced us with their glory. Hocus Pocus received a 30% from Rotten Tomatoes, and now it is a Halloween staple! This movie is a quote gold mine, and who didn’t want a cat like Thackery Binx? To celebreate Hocus Pocus & The All-New Sequel I thought it would be fun to make a themed drink to go along with your movie watching!

About the Book

I am so excited to read the book. Here’s the scoop on what it is about. Hocus Pocus is beloved by Halloween enthusiasts all over the world. Diving once more into the world of witches, this electrifying two-part young adult novel, released on the twenty-fifth anniversary of the 1993 film, marks a new era of Hocus Pocus. Fans will be spellbound by a fresh retelling of the original film, followed by the all-new sequel that continues the story with the next generation of Salem teens.

Shortly after moving from California to Salem, Massachusetts, Max Dennison finds himself in hot water when he accidentally releases a coven of witches, the Sanderson sisters, from the afterlife. Max, his sister, and his new friends (human and otherwise) must find a way to stop the witches from carrying out their evil plan and remaining on earth to torment Salem for all eternity.

Twenty-five years later, Max and Allison’s seventeen-year-old daughter, Poppy, finds herself face-to-face with the Sanderson sisters in all their sinister glory. When Halloween celebrations don’t quite go as planned, it’s a race against time as Poppy and her friends fight to save her family and all of Salem from the witches’ latest vile scheme.

  5. I would love to win because Hocus Pocus is special to my girls and myself. Every year since they were little, we carve pumpkins, make pumpkin seeds and other goodies, then watch Hocus Pocus. They are 22 and 26 now, and we still make sure we get together and do this. I just became a Grandma this year and cannot wait until my grandson joins in this tradition! Both of my girls and I would read this book! Oh…and I’m a crazy Halloween lady. Hahaha
