Holiday Recipe: Quaker® Simply Granola Oats, Honey & Almonds are #SimplySatisfying in Chocolate Chip Cookies

The holidays are here which means it’s time to start baking! This is the best time of year to get together with friends and family to create memories of having fun and enjoying each other’s company. But, who wants just some ordinary chocolate chip cookie? It’s time to get creative! That’s why I chose to use Quaker® Simply Granola Oats, Honey & Almonds to spruce up my boring chocolate chip cookie recipe and create something that is #SimplySatisfying!

The Quaker® Simply Granola Oats, Honey & Almonds have tons of fiber and are a great energizer! That’s why it’s so great to use in any Christmas or holiday recipe!

Quaker® Simply Granola Oats, Honey & Almonds Chocolate Chip Cookies

Makes one dozen cookies, plus a little dough to nibble on while waiting for the cookies to bake!

INGREDIENTS: 

  • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 5 Tablespoons of Butter (Room Temperature)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Vanilla
  • 1 Cup of Crushed Quaker® Simply Granola Oats, Honey & Almonds
  • 3/4 Cup of Sifted Flour
  • ½ Tablespoon of Milk
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • ¾ Cups of Chocolate Chips

 

Step One: Cream together sugars and butter.

Step Two: Mix in the egg and vanilla, then add all other ingredients besides the chocolate chips. (Don’t forget the Quaker® Simply Granola Oats, Honey & Almonds!!)

Step Three: Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly mixed in.

Step Four: Bake at 350 degrees for twelve to fourteen minutes.

Step Five: Transplant cookies to let them cool for ten minutes.

Step Six: Enjoy!
