JCPenney In-Store Watch Party Event Recap
I had so much fun hosting the JCPenney watch party event at their Independence store last week. Thank you so much to everyone who came out, I know we had a great time.
Watch parties are such a fun way to bring your family and friends together. Everything from the big game to awards shows are right around the corner. I was able to find some really great items that are essential for hosting the perfect watch party….and they are all budget friendly! 🙂
Here are a few of my favorites!
Cooks 1.5 quart Slow CookerA lot of us have the large crockpots, but these small ones are perfect for watch party dips! The removable stoneware pot inside this mini dipper slow cooker makes it easy to serve delicious dip straight from the kitchen to the table.
Cooks 4-pc. Melamine Mixing Bowl Set
Hold, mix and beat ingredients into the perfect creations using these melamine bowls in a colorful set of four. These are great for watch parties because you can also use to serve chips, dips or other dishes. Plus, they are stack-able for storing convenience.
Sedona Rustic Beverage Dispenser With Chalkboard
Entertaining is easy with this charming beverage dispenser that allows guests to serve themselves. They’ll know exactly what they’re drinking when you write the name of the drinks on the helpful little chalkboard. You can get creative and name the drinks to match your party theme!

Any well-stocked kitchen should have a handy set of bamboo cutting boards. This set offers three different sizes so you can complete all your food prep with ease. Plus, I love being able to use these boards as serving platters for my guest, too! It saves on doing the dishes and they are a fun way to serve.
The woodwicks are my favorite candles and JCPenney is full stocked with a variety of scents. I love lighting these for watch parties because not only does it create a calming atmosphere, but pick a flavor like vanilla and people will think you’ve been baking all day. 😉
A lot of watch parties have children in attendance. However, they might not be as interested in hearing who won an award for the best movie made…so entertain them with a portable air hockey set. I found one at JCPenney that can be put on any table and will entertain the kiddos for endless hours.
