Jewel Toned- The Underwear You Can Wear in Public

When I get the chance to try out a new brand or product, I have to admit, I get very excited.  When I receive the product, and it turns out that I love it, I get even more excited.  That’s one of the best things about blogging. Sometimes, I am able to introduce all of you to something new that you might enjoy as well.

As women, many of us often find our selves struggling with our feelings about the way we look in certain clothes.  When Jewel Toned reached out to me about their line, I was ecstatic.

Founded by a Rachael McCrary, a lingerie expert who was unhappy with the traditional grandma-looking nude shapewear, Jewel Toned is a shapewear unlike the rest.  It’s a new generation of  shapewear, that allows you to decide whether you want to show a little or show a lot.  Their pieces offer the ability to be worn solo or paired together with pieces you already own.

When I first tried on the products I received, I was shocked at how comfortable the material was.  Often times, shapewear feels like it’s smothering you. Jewel Toned, however, offered a great fit.  Each piece is multifunctional, so it can be layered under other pieces, hidden as a foundation garment, or worn alone.  Check out how I decided to style the pieces I received.

The first piece is the Out All Night Mini.  It is a high-waisted mini skirt shaper that is seamless and multi-functional – the lace can peek out from under a dress or be hidden underneath for smoothing and shaping.  The second piece I styled is the Major Mini Dress.  It has adjustable straps, removable cups, and a built-in bra.  This is the perfect LBD for anyone looking to wear it solo or layered.

For my first look I went with a look that can be worn on an everyday occasion.  I paired the Out All Night Mini with a basic white cami and jean jacket.  Add some wedges and you are good to go for an easy and comfortable daytime look.

For the next look, I took the same blue skirt and paired it with one of my favorite go-to black dresses.  In the first photo, you can see that it is used just as shape wear.  In the second photo, the lace from the skirt peaks out, offering a fun way to add style to plain dresses.  The mini comes in a variety of colors, so if you were interested in showing the lace with a certain color, you can definitely add fun accessories of the same color to bring the entire look together.

Another option for the skirt it is to pair it with another skirt and again let the blue lace show.  This really added a fun pop of color to my neutral look, below.

Now on to the second product, the Major Mini Dress.  This dress is so comfortable and really does help you suck it all in.  If you are looking for an essential piece to wear solo or under another dress, I highly recommend picking one of these up.  If you know me at all, you know I love black so of course I am going to go ahead and recommend black. 😉  For the first look, I am showing you what it looks like worn alone.

For the second look I added one of my go to jackets and an envelope clutch.  Paired with a nude pair of heels you can easily take this look out on the town.

I hope you enjoyed my looks.  Now, go check out Jewel Toned.  The products are slimming, comfortable, and versatile. If you choose to order something, each piece comes in a cute floral box and with a complimentary hair tie.  It’s fun details like that that makes me an even bigger fan of Jewel Toned.
Just remember, shape wear can actually be cute and stylish.  Give it a try, and make sure you let me know what you think. 🙂
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post though Jewel Toned. However, all opinions are and always will remain my own.
