Kaitlyn Bristowe Reacts to the Death of Former Contestant Clint Arlis

Bachelor Nation recently suffered a great loss in the death of former contestant Clint Arlis. Clint appeared as a contestant on season 11 of The Bachelorette starring Kaitlyn Bristowe.

In January of this year, Arlis passed away at age 24. His sister Taylor shared the news on her Facebook page saying, “It is with great sadness, to tell you that my family has lost my best friend and older brother Clint on the morning of January 11th.” She added, “Please respect our family’s privacy as we try to cope with this great loss. Details on the service will follow. Thank You.”

Bristowe sent Arlis home in the third week of her season. This elimination took place after other contestants claimed that Clint was not there for the right reasons.

So, their love connection did not end happily ever after. However, Kaitlyn Bristowe took to her Instagram stories to share her thoughts on Clint’s passing.

Bristowe said, “Even though things didn’t end on the best terms for us, from his time on the show to today, I have heard nothing but incredible things about that person. From his peers, his students, his coaches, his teachers, his friends, his family, Clint was very well respected in his world.”

Kaitlyn Gets Vulnerable

While expressing her sorrow, Kaitlyn reiterated to fans that Clint’s death is a “tragedy” and that she doesn’t know “much” about the circumstances surrounding his death.

Kaitlyn also added, “And it’s none of my business.” She continued, “This Instagram Story is literally to just say to anyone who knows him who might follow me that I am so sorry. It’s such huge loss and I’m honestly just beside myself with this news.”

Other members of Bachelor Nation have been expressing their sadness at Clint Arlis’ passing. Nick Viall, who appeared alongside Clint on Kaitlyn’s season of The Bachelorette, shared his thoughts vis Twitter.

In a January 13 Tweet Nick said, “Just heard about the passing of Clint Arlis. I got a chance to get know Clint a little after our time on Kaitlyns season and I always enjoy are time and conversations. A very kind, unique, and talented person who was taken from this world far too soon. RIP Clint”
