Kaitlyn Bristowe Talks Engagement and Tells Becca Kufrin "Sorry About Your Loss"

Love is in the air! With so many Bachelor Nation engagements and weddings, it is hard to keep track of them all! Thankfully, Kaitlyn Bristowe is sharing details of her engagement to Bachelor Nation’s Jason Tartick.

Kaitlyn Bristowe Talks About Her Relationship With Jason

In the June 1 episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour Podcast, Kaitlyn Bristowe talks all about her engagement to Jason tartick from The Bachelorette season 14. The episode host is Becca Kufrin and Catherine Lowe is the guest co-host.

Becca starts the episode welcoming Kaitlyn to the podcast and congratulating her on her engagement to Jason Tartick from her own season of The Bachelorette. Kaitlyn then jokingly teases Becca saying, “Thank you, and also sorry about your loss because he’s the one that got away.”

The two friends begin reminiscing on when Kaitlyn first asked Becca about dating Jason. Kaitlyn recalls, “When I said, ‘Hey, is it weird or can I like, date him?’ And you said, ‘As long as you treat him like a king because he’s going to treat you like a queen.'”

All About Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Engagement

Now that Kaitlyn and Jason are engaged, they are basking in happiness. Kaitlyn says, “We are enjoying all of the celebrations and the champagne and it just has been nonstop since the second he proposed.”

“We have four meetings tomorrow with four different wedding planners to decide who we want to pick” and she adds, “Then it’s going to be full-on from there because we want a short engagement.”

As for the proposal itself, Jason popped the question to Kaitlyn while the two were recording an episode of her podcast Off the Vine. In the episode, he surprises her with a beautiful speech about their love and relationship. Jason even mentions that, “I met you when we did a recording on this podcast Kait, and you asked me what I want in a life partner.”

Talking about the experience Kaitlin is grateful for the audio recording that she will cherish forever. She says, “It was so beautiful, everything he said was perfect. I’m so glad we have it recorded because I definitely blacked out and so did he.”

A Bachelor Nation Wedding

In true Bachelor Nation fashion, everyone wants to know about the wedding! Becca asks Kaitlyn, “Do you have any more wedding plans besides just a quick engagement?”

The Bachelorette co-host replies, “I think we’ll find out more when we talk to and have our wedding planner.” She also explains, “I want it to be like a Great Gatsby black tie event, very glam” later adding “We want it to be super chic.”

Even though Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick have not nailed down details yet, fans may not have to wait very long! She says they will be married, “Hopefully in the summer of 2022, like early summer.”

Wedding Tips

Catherine Lowe, winner of season 17 of The Bachelor and wife of fan favorite Sean Lowe, offers Kaitlyn Bristowe some wedding planning advice. She tells Kaitlyn,”Be present in every part of it because it’s gonna be exciting, you’re gonna want to remember it all.”

She also offers advice for wedding planning as a couple, telling Kaitlyn, “Make sure you do it with him. I know he’s probably not gonna want to do a bunch of the stuff, but different memories come when you’re together and doing something so profound and you want to hear his opinions.”

Catherine jokes, “You’ll probably get your way, but just be present with him because this is your guys’ time.” She adds, “It’s your event and it’s your celebration.”

As for the actual wedding day, Catherine offers a great tip that will help any bride! She says, “One of my favorite things of advice for the wedding day is don’t let go of his hand because people are going to pull you every which way.” Catherine emphasizes her point adding, “It’s about you two together.”
