I don’t know about you, but I love the smell of fabric softener on my clothes when I pop them out of the dryer. It gives me a relaxing, clean feeling that is out of this world. Being a college student comes with the responsibility of doing your own laundry (YAY). When I started doing my own laundry in college, it just wasn’t the same as when my mom would do it. As a result, I did some research and came across a laundry hack. In this hack, you can make your very own and reusable fabric softeners! The best part is, it will only cost you about $5.00. The hack requires you to use sponges, which will soak up the fabric softener in a container. After you make these reusable laundry sponges, you will never buy dryer sheets again. I’ve decided to share my little secret and make a step by step guide to help you make these reusable laundry sponges!

When using a laundry sponge, all you need to do is to pull out a piece of a sponge and squeeze the excess. Then, you can pop the laundry sponge in the dryer with your wet clothes. When the dryer is done, you can take the dry clothes out and place the sponge back into the container with the mixture, you can keep reusing it!

I hope you enjoyed this low-budget, easy laundry hack. Now go and enjoy the clean and fresh lavender smell on your clothes!
