All the Minifigures
There are three minifigures in this set–three! Plus the Quantum Vehicle and a palmful of accessories. It can be hard to find affordable LEGO sets with three minifigures, so you don’t want to let this one pass you by.
Included are The Wasp, Ghost, and Ant-Man, as shown above. One of these minifigures is the only downside to this LEGO set. Sadly, I have to say The Wasp’s minifigure bummed me out a little. I wish she came with bigger wings. Unlike helmets on other minifigures, The Wasp’s doesn’t have a way to move it without removing it to see her face. There’s no shield or option to push it up because it’s painted on. Taking the helmet off is the only way to see The Wasp’s face.
The minifigures for Ant-Man and Ghost were great! I liked Ant-Man’s helmet and loved Ghost. There are two blue power blast pieces for Ghost’s minifigure that actually blast when you press them. They can fly a surprising distance so be careful not to let them get too far! At $19.99, the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantum Realm Explorers set is already a great price and we haven’t even talked about the ship!
Quantum Vehicle
This set is 200 pieces of magnificent and that is due to the Quantum Vehicle. Let’s talk about how amazingly functional LEGO made this ship. The top and sides of the cockpit open and you can easily place the minifigures inside. There are controls in the cockpit that you can actually move. Even the arms on the outside of the vehicle move!
If you love Ghost’s functioning blasts, you’ll love the shooters on this ship. Just below each of the side hatches is the shooter switch. All it takes is a gentle press to launch the two tiny clear LEGO pieces. (Don’t worry. The set does come with extras!) The back part of the vehicle moves too. It’s pretty awesome and I appreciate the detail with its addition. Accessory-wise you get a trophy, Ant-Man’s shrink gun, and a vial. Add these to the ship and the minifigures and that’s serious bang for your buck!
