It can be hard to balance everything in life, between work, family, pets, keeping up your home…the time just gets away from all of us. However, you must remember to make sure to enjoy your time with your family!
This recipe is so simple to make and the whole family will love these tasty sandwiches. Plus, you can make them ahead of time and freeze them to eat all week long.
I am all about convenience and high-quality products when it comes to cooking. These egg and sausage breakfast sandwiches are simple to make and taste great.
Why Farmland Foods
Farmland is a brand that consistently provides great-tasting, quality protein at a reasonable price. It is available in a variety of stores which I really appreciate for the convenience. I was able to pick it up at my local Walmart.
While it is available at stores around us I really like knowing that these products are created fresh and grown on a farm. This is a great way to connect with local farmers who partner with Farmland to provide food for all of us.
Not only does the company take pride in the food being made, but Farmland is also committed to its core values, strong work ethic, and community. Farmland’s mission is to provide wholesome food that sustains the body and the soul by nurturing families, friends, and the community.
If you haven’t given Farmland products a try yet, I suggest you pick up one of their great proteins and add it to your breakfast sandwich recipe or any other delicious meal you may be creating for you or your family.
The best part of this recipe is it only takes 2 (with the option of 3 ingredients).
- Farmland Food Sausage roll
- Cheese (optional)
Preparing the Sausage
It was simple to prepare the Farmland Food Sausage by slicing the thawed sausage roll into thin patties and cooking in a skillet. I used the original pork sausage roll.
You will want to cook over medium heat and turn them over a few times to brown evenly. Cooking time can vary from 13 to 18 minutes.
Cooking Your Eggs
I whisked the eggs and cook them in egg rings to create an egg patty. These create a scrambled egg patty that also make the perfect outside pieces turning your sausage patty into a sandwich.
A fun way to involve your family and make each breakfast sandwich unique is to let them choose their own toppings! I like adding a piece of cheese, but feel free to let your taste buds go wild and get as creative as you would like.
