The Most Delicious Mini Nutella Waffles Recipe
This is the breakfast (or dare I say, dessert) of your dreams! Mini golden brown waffles filled with nutella and covered with chocolate chips will be the highlight of your day. Crispy on the outside and pillowy soft on inside, these Nutella Waffles will leave you in breakfast heaven.
Let’s begin by saying how much we love eating sweets, like fruit and ice cream, in the summertime. We also need to state that eating a healthy, balanced breakfast isn’t always a reality. Sometimes we just need something sweet (or savory) to start our day—let’s call it part of our self-care routine.
As our love of nutella grows so does our creativity on how to incorporate it into our diets. As a result, we merged two of our favorite things together: waffles and nutella hazelnut spread! Except we kept the waffles mini because who doesn’t love food in mini sizes?!
This recipe is quick, easy and guarantees deliciousness. All you need to make this recipe a success is a waffle iron and nutella. The rest of the ingredients are all items you should already own. What’s even better is that waffles freeze really well! Keep the extras in a zip lock bag in the freezer and toss them into the toaster oven for easy reheating.

DIRECTIONS:
- While the waffle iron preheats, combine flour, salt, sugar and baking powder in a large mixing bowl and whisk together.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs then stir in the milk, butter, vanilla extract and nutella. Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and blend together till smooth.
- Pour batter into the preheated waffle iron. Cook until the waffles are crispy and golden brown.
- Remove the waffle from the iron and top with nutella, mini chocolate chips and fruit before serving.
Tip: The waffle batter will blend better if the milk is warm when you stir it into the whisked eggs. It ends up melting the butter more, making it less lumpy and more creamy.
After you remove the waffles from the iron, place them on a cooling rack for a few minutes or just straight on your plate to begin adding your toppings. Keep in mind, you can make this recipe your own by adding your preferred toppings, we’re just a big fan of fresh fruit.
Time for the fun part: the eating! We hope you enjoyed making your mini nutella waffles as much as you did eating them. If you’re wondering where to buy a mini waffle iron, we’ve got you covered! This one is inexpensive and incredibly cute.
