Monarch NYC Rooftop Bar Review
If you’re looking for an incredible view while sipping cocktails with tasty bites, the Monarch Rooftop of the Marriott Hotel is the place for you. While in New York City over the weekend, we got the chance to try it out for ourselves and we’re highly impressed. Known for having the best view of the Empire State Building, it certainly did not disappoint. You can grab a table outside or choose to sit inside. I suggest sitting outside so you can get a view of the Empire State Building.
We munched on guacamole and chips, hummus and pita, their famous beef sliders and our personal favorite, the brussel sprouts. The Tortillas Fritas consisted of perfectly blended house made guacamole, complimented with garden fresh salsa and tortilla chips.
Monarch’s Roasted Red Pepper Hummus featured roasted red peppers, toasted pine nuts & lemon
oil with warm pita chips.
The Monarch Beef Sliders includes Pat L Frieda’s dry aged Angus beef sliders, aged cheddar, caramelized onions, served with secret sauce.
Our personal favorite was the Brussel Sprouts, baked and topped with mozzarella.
The Red Sangria had colorful slices of citrus and paired perfectly with the food.
Known as a great place to grab a drink, Monarch is the perfect spot to unwind after the day or meet friends on the weekend. The atmosphere was fun, yet relaxing with a pleasant staff. We highly recommend Monarch for their fun atmosphere, beautiful views, and tasty bites. Located off W. 35th St., It’s one of the best rooftop bars you can visit in New York City. We were jumping from one adventure to the next, and highly appreciated their flexibility.
