Must-have #1: Scarves

Scarves come in all shapes and sizes and are the perfect accessory to any outfit! Shopping for gifts? No need for a hoodie, pair a knit infinity scarf with an oversized sweater and you’ll be the trendiest gal out there. Christmas party? Add a colorful pashmina to your little black dress for both style and warmth!

Must-have #2: Boots

Boots have taken the fashion scene by storm over the past few years and I have fallen more in love with them by the day! Be conscious of boot height in comparison to your height! Over the knee boots may disproportion your body if you’re on the shorter side while booties may give you the boost you need to make a lasting impression!

Must-have #3: Dark Lip

One of my favorite things about shifting from summer to fall and winter is the transformation from bright lip colors to darker shades. During the holidays, one of the best accessories for any outfit is a dark lip! I have been loving plum and wine-colored shades this year. Whether you’re wearing jeans and a flannel or that LBD, a dark lip is sure to make an impact.

Must-have #4: Flannels

Fun, flirty, fashionable…FLANNELS! I love flannels; the comfiest and easiest way to tackle the cold weather. The best thing about flannels? They work with/under/over just about anything! My favorite combination is a festive flannel underneath a neutral vest. Add some dark wash jeans with a simple brown boot and you’re good to go!

Must-have #5: Oversized Sweater

Last but not least, my absolute favorite winter essential is an oversized sweater! The perfect add on to both the simple and dressy outfit. You can pair an oversized sweater with some leggings and boots when you’re feeling bloated from holiday feasting or even wear it as a sweater dress (they’re making a comeback, people!).
