My Stay At Hotel Felix In Chicago
If you have been following me on snapchat, instagram, twitter, etc. lately you’ve seen that I have been doing quite a bit of traveling. It has been so much fun. One thing I love about traveling is seeing places, trying new restaurants and of course finding homes away from home.
I absolutely love Chicago! I was there just a couple of weekends ago for Go Blog Social’s Chicago Pop-Up event. This is our second year doing it. I’m a little behind, but I’ll have a recap of that soon.
While I was there I was lucky enough to stay at Hotel Felix. First, I have to comment on how much I appreciate how friendly and accommodating the staff was. We had a ton of boxes (for those fabulous gift bags) we had to transfer and they were so nice and helpful.
At the Hotel Felix their goal to provide an unforgettable Chicago experience, while making their visitors happy, naturally. The word “felix” means “happy” in Latin, and since opening their doors in 2009 they have been living up to that name through environmentally sustainable practices, friendly staff, and a playful spirit that promises to bring a smile to your face.
When I walked in to Hotel Felix I knew right away I was going to love it. The lobby is beautiful and I was greeted by a ceiling-high mosaic of logs, a water pond, and delicate orbs floating over a gentle fireplace.
These elements not only create a calming atmosphere throughout the lobby, but also symbolize an “earth, wind, fire, and water” theme that embodies our commitment to the environment.
The room was also very nice. I stayed in a two bed, very chic room. It had a great view of the rooftop bar next door.
The boutique hotel also provides an array of first-class amenities to ensure a relaxing stay. A state-of-the-art fitness center, full-service spa, valet parking, concierge services, complimentary high-speed Internet, room service, technologically equipped meeting spaces, a business center, LM Bistro and our cozy lobby bar are among the many comforts at Hotel Felix.
If you are looking for a great place to stay in Chicago, I highly recommend Hotel Felix!
Disclosure: I was provided with a complimentary stay, however all opinions are my own. I never guarantee a positive review.
