Finally…My Office Update
A few months ago I moved into my very own condo. I was beyond thrilled that it was a two bedroom. Two bedrooms and hardwood floors were my must haves. The main reason I wanted a second bedroom was for a home office.
If you are involved in the blogging world or any sort of work from home career you know the importance of having a dedicated workspace. Well, life got in the way and I neglected actually fixing up my spare room until recently.
With a little help from my friends at I transformed my desk area from boring and bland to motivational and exciting.
I have learned that working in an environment with constant reminders of positivity really helps me stay motivated. I found these cute wall hangings at and a picture frame. Inside the frame I hung my “Goal Digger” print. There were a variety of choices when it came to motivational quotes at Kohls and I love it so much. I eventually settled on “Life the life you have imagined.” Seriously, this is the motto I want to follow.
I used a $200 gift card to purchase the decor, plus I was even able to score a wall plug-in for my office with refills. That’s the thing I love most about Kohls, high quality products at affordable prices.
I had so much fun with this office update. It was hard to narrow down exactly what I wanted, but ultimately I knew I wanted to go with a white, neutral theme. Next, up I need to update my desk and chair. It’s always so much fun improving your surroundings. It’s so crazy, but I actually got so much more accomplished at my new updated desk area than I ever had in the past.
