Do you love cheese like me! Well here is a recipe to try for a snack. These Crisps contain just Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. I loved making the avocado dip to go with the these cheese crisps. This snack is perfect for if you are on a keto diet. Make these and bag them up in zip log bags. This is the first time making these and I must say that i enjoyed them more with the avocado dip. This recipe makes 12 servings and contains 0 grams of sugar and only 31 calories.

If you don’t like avocado’s feel free to use marinara dipping sauce. You can also use another kind of cheese if you don’t like Parmesan. Whenever I make an avocado dip, I add in some extra flavoring such as lemon juice. This gives it that tangy sweet flavor that it needs, as avocado doesn’t have much taste. When making this recipe tweak it to your own personal preference.

How to make Parmesan Cheese Crisps:

  1. Preheat the Oven 350 F. Line a Baking Sheet with Parchment Paper.
  2. Place a Tablespoon of the parmesan cheese in small piles on baking sheet. Flatten each pile out evenly and sprinkle some Italian Seasoning on top.
  3. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and the edges start to crisp up.
  4. Remove from Oven.

How to make Avocado Dip:

  1. Cut Avocado in half and scoop it out with a spoon in medium mixing bowl.
  2. Mash up Avocado, you might need a masher for this.
  3. Mix in Yogurt, Seasoning Salt, Garlic Powder, and Lemon Juice. Adjust to taste preferences. Stir for at least 2 minutes.

Notes:

If you want your avocado dip spices you can add in some cilantro. Also you can substitute the lemon juice for lime juice.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup of Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian Seasoning
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1/4 Cup of Plain Greek Yogurt
  • A Squeeze of Lemon Juice
  • A pinch of Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven to 350
  2. Line a Baking Sheet with Parchment Paper
  3. Place a tabelsppon each of parmesean cheese evenly in a pile on baking sheet, then sprinkle some italian seasoning on top.
  4. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes
  5. Remove from Oven
  6. Cut Avocado in half and scoop out into a medium sized mixing bowl. Mash up Avacado with a masher.
  7. Mix in Yogurt, Lemon Juice, Garlic Powder, Seasoning Salt. Adjust it to taste.
  8. Stir for about 2 minutes and your ready to eat.

Notes

You can try adding Cilantro to your avocado dip. You might also want to use lime juice instead of lemon juice.
