The person standing in the middle will keep their yes closed and shout out Marco while the other players will say Polo.

It is the person in the middle’s job to try and find the others based on when they say Polo.

Marco and Polo will be shouted interchangeably throughout the game until the middle person is able to find someone else and that person will take their spot.
