I absolutely love hosting parties, so needless to say, I was overly excited when I received the chance to have some friends over to host a pre-VMA party. The VMAs are one of my very favorite awards shows. Seriously, how can it get better than celebs rocking out their creative fashion and jamming to some pretty great tunes. Plus, I love seeing people get recognized for their achievements as they follow their dreams and passions.
My very favorite thing about the show are the looks. I feel like the VMAs are an awards show that attendees and performers are really able to express themselves and take a chance with their style. I love the idea of creating looks that rock. Most of the time, these looks start with beauty products paired with stylish clothes, a perfect hair day, and some fancy heels. Sport this perfect combination, and you're ready to rock!
The lovely people at P&G sent us some awesome products to try out. My friends over at Chioptle hooked us up with some delicious food to munch on while we tried out the beauty products. It was such a fun night. Check out some of our photos below.
