Priyanka Chopra, whose most recent efforts include appearing in and serving as executive producer for Netflix’s The White Tiger, has kids in mind for her future. Recently, Chopra declared that she would like as many children as she would need, “for a cricket team.”
She further explained that, “Family is a big part of my life. It’s always been a part of my dreams.”
Fans will be happy to learn that Priyanka and Nick have been taking advantage of the pandemic and enjoying spending more time together. Even though Priyanka has been in London filming the rom-com Text For You, Nick was able to join her there in November.
Priyanka Chopra’s Current Plans
For now, she is focusing on the release of The White Tiger on Netflix. This action-packed movie is based on the novel of the same name by Ramin Bahrani. The story follows an ambitions and cunning driver who uses his wit to achieve success.
Chopra explained that she read the book, “in 2008 when it came out and it was so provocative, and it moved me and it made me uncomfortable, because it, you know, talks about this class disparity that exists all over the world. It’s extremely topical, unfortunately.”
Through her involvement in this film, Chopra hopes to raise awareness for similar situations. She explains that, “My quest has been to bring South Asian stories to the fore in Hollywood, and to kind of have that representation.”
