Psych 2: Lassie Come Home: 10 Reasons We’re Obsessed

We know, you know that we ARE telling the truth! Here are our top 10 reasons we’re psyched and oh so grateful for Psych 2: Lassie Come Home.

Warning: Spoilers ahead.

1. Timothy Omundson

After suffering a terrible stroke in 2017 just a month before filming the first Psych movie, Tim has had to overcome immense obstacles the last three years. We’re happy to see him in any capacity, but back as our dear Lassie is well deserving of the number one spot on this list.

2. #Shules

(Aka our OTP Shawn and Juliet.) They finally tied the knot at the end of the first movie! And luckily Lassie Come Home is filled with plenty of Shules goodness. Seriously, take a bite of pineapple every time Shawn calls her “my wife” or “sweetheart.”

3. Gus and Shawn’s Shenanigans

It never gets old. From the girlish screams and quirky banter to whisper fights and poorly executed stunts, the dynamic best friend duo is something we never tire of.

4. Chief Vick.

Oh good ole’ chief. She’s like our unofficial mom and we couldn’t be more excited to have her back!

5. Classic Favorite Moments

Gus’s nicknames, chase scenes, ignoring the rules, wait for iiit- they’re all “Psych” classics! These are the things that made us fall in love with this show and we’re glad to see every last one of them. C’mon, son!

6. Henry

Because what good would Shawn be without the man that shaped him into who he is? No matter what, Henry always shows up and we love him for it.

7. The Cast

Because chemistry and camaraderie like this doesn’t just happen all the time. Us “Psych-os” are lucky to have such an epic cast that works so tirelessly to provide us with such amazing content!

8. Woody

A little creepy. Always inappropriate. Unfailingly hilarious. Woody has always been a team player and we’re so excited to see him back with the gang!

9. Special Guests Stars

From Joel McHale and Kadeem Hardison, to Sarah Chalke and James’s A Million Little Things costar Allison Miller, this movie had plenty of familiar faces for us to fan over.

10. Coming Home.

At the end of the day “Psych 2: Lassie Come Home” is just another excuse to reunite with some of our favorite fictional characters. As a result, we’re back where we love to be: following a group of friends trying to rid the world of bad guys and make life just a little bit better. Which they definitely do in our eyes.
