Reasons Everyone Needs to Own Captain Marvel on DVD

Captain Marvel is now on DVD online and in stores everywhere! I grew up watching super-hero movies and I absolutely loved watching Brie Larson fight off aliens on the big screen this year. I am so excited that you can now own it and watch it over & over at home.

If you missed this movie in theaters, here are a few reasons you need to get this DVD for yourself.

1. Girl Power

This is the first female-led superhero movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Brie Larson as Captain Marvel is powerful, inspirational, and we really get to explore her world and backstory. Much of the cast and crew of this film are also women, way to go ladies!

2. Goose the cat

Captain Marvel, AKA Carol Danvers, has her trusty sidekick, Goose, help her throughout the movie. Without giving too much away, this cat steals the show and actually becomes a very important star of the movie.

3. Aliens

Like many Marvel movies, Captain Marvel involves intense battle scenes between humans, aliens, and other super-beings. You’ll get to see a few new alien worlds and travel to space with Kree and Skrulls.

4. Samuel L. Jackson

Do I need to elaborate? Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury is an icon of the MCU. We get to learn a little more of his origin story in Captain Marvel, and watch him and Agent Coulson develop the Avengers initiative.

5. The 90s

Captain Marvel takes place in 1995, meaning the costumes, hairstyles, music, and dialogue of the film are all throwbacks. The soundtrack is seriously jam-worthy with hits from Nirvana, TLC, No Doubt, and other 90s faves.
