The two have an unexpected friendship that turns into a romance. The movie is based on the novel by Teri Wilson and is set in New York City. It is also Ryan Paevey’s first Christmas movie.

2. Marrying Mr. Darcy (2018) 

If you were a fan of Unleashing Mr. Darcy I have a surprise for you. This romantic comedy is a sequel to the 2016 movie about a married couple.

In the movie, Marrying Mr. Darcy, Ryan Paevey plays Donovan Darcy, a wealthy American businessman who is also an avid Jane Austen fan.

The movie follows Donovan and Elizabeth Scott, played by (Cindy Busby), as they plan their wedding amidst a series of unexpected real-life events for a very happily married Christmas.

3. Harvest Love (2017) 

In Harvest Love (Jen Lilley) plays the role of Luna Gilson, a doctor from Seattle who’s also a single mom who returns to her pear orchid family farm after her husband passes away.

With the help of grifffin and others in this story, love is truly found and you will absolutely love this movie.

During this hard time, she meets Will Nash played by (Ryan Paevey) who is her family’s farm help. She moves back home to reconnect with her young grieving child.

4. Christmas at the Plaza (2019) 

In Christmas at the Plaza, Jessica Cooper, played by (Elizabeth Henstrige) an archival historian. She begins working at the New York City Plaza Hotel to create a Christmas theme display.

She must work with the Plaza’s handsome Christmas decorator, Nick Perrelli, played by (Ryan Paevey). And while Jessica is looking for the past, her future becomes unpredictable when she starts to fall for Nick at the most colorful time of the year.

5. A Summer Romance (2019) 

I love a good enemies-to-lovers movie as much as the other person but this one takes the cake. In A Summer Romance, Samantha Walker played by (Erin Krakow) owns her family’s ranch and has to think of letting go.

When city-slicker real-estate developer Richard Belmont (Ryan Paevey) rolls into town offering to buy her ranch so his company can build a resort, he receives closed doors in his face.

Samantha brings the gift of peace when she offers to show Richard around her farm owned by her extended family and realizes that they might just have something in common. 

6. Hope at Christmas (2018) 

In Hope at Christmas, (Ryan Paevey) plays Mac, a man who offers a helping hand to a divorced single mother, Sydney, played by (Scottie Thompson). Sydney and her young daughter inherit a house from her long-held family legend grandmother.

When Sydney runs to the bookstore and meets Mac, an elementary school teacher, she goes on a magical journey of love. The movie is set in a small town during the holiday season. The movie explores the theme of hope and a second chance.

7. Matching Hearts (2020) 

Don’t we all wish that there was an easy way to figure out if the person we’re dating is the one?

In Matching Hearts, Julia Palmer (Taylor Cole) is an extraordinary matchmaker who is tasked with an important job by her boss. She must find the perfect match for entrepreneur Daniel O’Connor played by (Ryan Paevey).

Daniel, a workaholic bachelor, is in no hurry to find someone and believes he is better off single. After spending time together with Taylor, Daniel starts to wonder if he really is meant to be with someone or if it’s just his cover story.

Take yourself back to your high school choir days or reminisce on favorite meals at a chinese restaurant. This movie will have you feeling the love.

With costume designer Emily Gray, this Hallmark film is a must-watch. The interior designer on set is also very notable.

8. A Timeless Christmas (2020) 

Everybody has seen a Christmas Carole and if you love it as much as I do, you definitely need to watch this movie. A Timeless Christmas is a rendition of a Christmas Carole but this one involves true love.

Ryan Plaevey plays the role of Charles Whitley, an American architect from 1903 who time-travels to present-day New York City like the ghost of Christmas present. He meets a tour guide named Megan (played by Erin Cahill) and experiences the world of the 21st century for the first time.

9. A Little Daytime Drama (2021)

All of us remember watching Soap Operas with our grandparents or parents when we were younger. This movie will bring you back to your childhood days.

In A Little Daytime Drama, writer Maggie (Jen Lilley) is in a bit of hot trouble when her daytime soap opera is scheduled to be canceled.

To save her show she does one last ditch effort, she asks for a little help to convince her ex-boyfriend, Donny (Ryan Paevey) to return to the show he vowed never to return to again.

10. Coyote Creek Christmas (2021) 

Coyote Creek Christmas had a premiere date of October 30, 2021, making this Ryan Paevey’s most recent movie. He plays a single father, Dylan Bailey, who meets Paige Parker (Janel Parrish) in unexpected ways.

Her parents are the owners of the local cozy Christmas Inn and Paige is trying to get into the Christmas Spirit by throwing an all-around-the-world day Christmas party.

Paige and Dylan start to form a bond in this Holiday rom-com movie filled with a series of unexpected events.

11. From Friend to Fiancé (2019)

In this romantic comedy, (Ryan Paevey) plays Ted Cooper who gets engaged to one of the past high school mean girls. He asks his childhood friend Jessica Parks, played by (Jocelyn Hudon) to plan their wedding.

While planning the wedding, their relationship turns into something more.

The movie set is filled with beautiful outdoor scenes during the summer nights and days. The setting has a new orleans feel with the comfort of home.

Within this movie you’ll also see some familiar faces such as Kelly Kruger who played the character Kimberly, not to be confused with the well known Hallmark actress Kimberley Sustad.

12. Two Tickets to Paradise (2022)

If you’re looking for a movie about fate, and coincidence this is the one for you.

After being stood up at the altar by their partners, Hannah Holt played by Ashley Williams and Josh Wyatt played by Ryan Paevey keep crossing paths with each other on their honeymoon.

They decide to make the best of it and get to know each other, but what they don’t expect is to fall in love.

13. Fabled Holiday (2022)

If you love a good friends-to-lovers storyline as much as the next person why not add this new movie to your watchlist?

A Fabled Holiday is about Talia (Brooke D’Orsay) who comes into connection with her childhood best friend Anderson (Ryan Paevey).

14. Don’t Go Breaking My Heart (2021)

I know we have all experienced some sort of tough love, but not like this. In Don’t Go Breaking My Heart (Ryan Paevey) plays Ben Meyers, a reporter who goes undercover as a heartbroken man at Miranda Faraday’s (Italia Ricci) broken heart boot camp.

This camp is a support group for people who have recently gotten dumped with a focus on unconventional ways of getting over their significant other. But what they don’t expect to find is love.

This movie is probably one of the most iconic on this Ryan Paevey Hallmark movies list!
