What kind of hobbies did you have growing up and now?

Growing up I was always fascinated in music and I learned how to play the flute and a little bit of the guitar. As I grew up I started to become more interested in video production and making my own concept dance videos.

What kinds of jobs did you have growing up?

One of my first jobs was when I was 14 and I worked at this fast food place called, Culver’s. It is still one of my favorite places to eat. YUM! Then, in high school I worked in retail and when I turned eighteen I became a bartender in the Milwaukee scene.

What would you say is your life motto?

“Try everything once” Every opportunity I get to try something new and fun I 100 percent go for it!

Who is your celebrity crush?

Hands down Travis Garland! His voice is so pure and beautiful.

Favorite type of food?

Pizza!

Favorite kind of music?

My favorite kind of music is by far Rock.

Natalie Jansen (22)

What is your ideal “type”?

My ideal “type” would be a man who is adventurous and somewhat fearless. A man who can challenge me in life and I can learn from and be able to grow with and better each other.

What is your ideal date?

Oh my! I went on so many unique dates it is hard to picture what an “ideal” one would be now. Probably something adventurous. I’m not the kind of girl that likes the typical dinner and movie. Take me somewhere exciting or thrill seeking. Let’s laugh together and not sit in silence.

What is your biggest turn on and biggest turn off in a guy?

My biggest turn on is a man who has ambition and drive.
My biggest turn off is a man who is close minded and judgmental.

What would you say is the most challenging part of dating?

The most challenging part is opening yourself up to someone and letting them in.

Natalie Jansen (26)

What inspired you to go on Dating Naked?

I was inspired to go on Dating Naked from watching last season. My roommate and I were binge watching and she told me that I would be a “good fit” for the show. It seems that most guys here in Milwaukee are all the same and why not try to go on a beautiful island and meet twenty-two new men from all over the country…..naked.

What struggles do you face while on Dating Naked?

While being on Dating Naked I struggled with my emotions sometimes. You have the ability to make connections with different people at the same time and you never want to hurt anyone. Eliminations were always the hardest for me.

What was the funniest thing that happened on the show?

There are a ton of funny moments this season! My favorite would have to be….without spoiling….seeing some certain dance moves from people 😉

How did you like Bora Bora? What was your favorite and least favorite thing about it?

Bora Bora is BEAUTIFUL! My favorite part about it is how crystal clear the water is and all of the exotic fish you could swim with! My least favorite part about it were the bugs…one ended up biting me right on my butt and that was not a very pleasant thing to see.

Where do you see yourself after Dating Naked?

After the show I want to be able to share my experiences with others and how being naked is not as big of a deal as America makes it out to be.

What do you hope people learn from Dating Naked?

Whenever anyone hears “Dating Naked” they almost automatically think it’s trashy or should not be on T.V. However, that could not be more untrue. Dating Naked gives people a chance to date in a challenging way. In the real world when you date someone with clothes on you have that curiosity of what they might look like naked. You hide behind your clothes and with being naked the curiosity is gone and there is nothing to hide behind. It forces people to open up quicker and show what kind of person they really are. It’s actually a very beautiful unique experience and I think everyone should date naked! woo!

What would you tell someone who is considering applying for the show Dating Naked?

Do it! They have to trust the process and I promise they will leave the experience as a new person with memories only a few have.

What is the best piece of advice you would give to someone about dating?

Stay true to yourself and try not to be someone you’re not just to impress a guy.

Any last words of life advice?

Take every opportunity you can and don’t be afraid to try something new and crazy. Don’t be average or “normal”. Break through insecurities and show the world who you are! If I can do it on a national tv show naked….you can do anything too!

There you have it! All the insight on Dating Naked: Season 3 Contestant, Natalie Jansen. Want to see more of her and the rest of the crew? Be sure to check out VH1 every Wednesday night at 9/8c!
