Simple Peach Cobbler Recipe
Make the most of your ripe peaches with this delicious and easy recipe!

This was always one of my favorite desserts made by my Nana growing up. It is simple and only requires ingredients you probably already have in your pantry. The crust is crispy in some parts and chewy and delicious in others.
This recipe works with both fresh and canned peaches! If using fresh you may want to let your peaches sit in the fridge tossed in a tablespoon or so of sugar to allow them to sweeten, however this is optional. When serving, I top this cobbler with evaporated milk, because that’s how I grew up eating it. Of course, you also couldn’t go wrong serving with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Simple Peach Cobbler Ingredients:
- 9×13 baking dish
- 1 stick of butter: Crucial for the golden brown crust
- 2 cups flour: all purpose flower, sifted.
- 2-3 cups peaches: Canned or fresh
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups milk
- Evaporated Milk: this is optional
How to make Peach Cobbler:
First, prepare the peaches. In my case, I used fresh peaches so I had to score the bottoms, blanch in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Then, I immediately placed the peaches in an ice bath before I removed the skin and sliced.
Next, preheat oven to 350. Place 1 stick of butter in baking dish and place in oven to melt, about 5 minutes.
Then, combine 2 cups each flour, sugar, and milk
Pour this mixture over the melted butter in your baking dish.
Finally, pour over peaches. Do not completely mix in peaches, just make sure they are evenly dispersed. Bake at 350 for 45 – 60 minutes checking often.
