Sriracha Tofu Bowl Recipe

This Sriracha Tofu Bowl Recipe is packed full of protein, color, and vegetables. While this recipe is both easy and flavorful, it is the perfect lunch to keep in your meal plans all year long!

Personally, I love Sriracha. This sauce is very flavorful, highlights proteins and vegetables, all while being zero calories! Specifically, this bowl uses tofu (a meatless protein made from vegetables).

So, as the times are changing and more and more of us are adding vegetarian meals to our busy lifestyles these protein bowls are the perfect meal.

We are all realizing that it is not fun to only live on salads! It is time to kick those days to the curb. Now we can eat all of these delicious flavors while still being healthy. This Sriracha Tofu Bowl is simply a shapeshifting salad, but it keeps you full for hours.

SRIRACHA TOFU BOWL INGREDIENTS:

TOFU: I prefer to buy mine in cubes and pan sear them, but any tofu will work.

VEGETABLES: I used carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, and edamame.

RICE: I used cauliflower rice, but any rice will work. Brown rice is another great option.

HOW TO MAKE:

This recipe can be done in a few simple steps and is meal prep friendly!

1. Cook the tofu: First, I dropped my tofu in a soy sauce bowl to add flavor. Next, I used some olive oil spray to keep my tofu from sticking. Then, I seasoned my tofu with some salt, pepper, and garlic powder while I cooked it in the pan. I cooked the tofu until it looked nice and crispy.

2. Let the tofu cool: I put the tofu out on a baking sheet to cool while I prepped my vegetables.

3. Prepare the Rice: I purchased some pre made cauliflower rice that I cooked in a skillet and followed the instructions on the bag.

4. Prep the Vegetables: I cut up some carrots into shreds, cut my cucumber, and cut up some lettuce.

5. Blend: After everything was finished, I put rice on the bottom of my bowl, added my vegetable toppings, placed my tofu in the bowl, and put some sriracha on my tofu to make this bowl even more flavorful.

6. ENJOY!

NEED SOMETHING NEW IN YOUR TOFU BOWL?

A fun way to spice this recipe up is to add different seasonings to the tofu. I think it is fun to add fajita seasonings to the tofu and even the vegetables. I also like to add hints of lime and lemon juice to keep the bowl tasting fresh. It makes this bowl taste brand new with all the same things you loved the first time!
